History:

What do you get when you combine a mental health therapist with a certified personal trainer? You’re looking at her! My journey as a therapist has developed over the years to land me here at 11Athletics. I am the proud owner of Gahanna Counseling where we provide a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet the needs of our clients. I specialize in counseling for athletes to aid in injury recovery and performance anxiety. I thought it was time for the therapeutic and the athletic world to officially combine forces.

I’ve been teaching indoor cycling since 2018 and started instructing at 11Athletics in 2021. If you’re an early bird, you’ll catch me at 6am most days! My athletic history consists of 17 Marathons and 23 Half-Marathons as well as a handful of team sports. Having an athletic goal has always been important to me, even if it’s just setting a goal for pull-ups.

It is impossible to seperate physical health and mental health! The research supports the importance of physical activity. As a therapist, I also understand the role of habits, anxiety, and fear when starting something new. My goal is to help individuals meet their fitness goals and help target the things in life that hold them back from achieving them. I have been so grateful for this community at 11Athletics.
