Although summer is coming to a close, there are still plenty of opportunities to get outside and stay busy. Go for a hike, mow your own grass, start a new project, or simply relax in nature - hell, the other day I shoveled stone into a wheelbarrow and pushed it around my yard just for something to do. The main point here is that there's always an opportunity to get outside instead of sitting on the couch glancing back and forth between your phone, laptop, and tv, soaking in tons of information that you won't remember in 10 seconds.
I'm not here to give you a computer generated list of reasons as to why you should go outside, you can look that up on your own. However, I will guarentee that if you spend at least an hour outside per day, you will be more relaxed and you will sleep better at night. 78% of people who reported high stress levels and lack of sleep don't spend any time outside throughout the day. Can you believe that!? Well you shouldnt, because I just made it up. Seriously though, stop making excuses for being a bum. Rain won't melt you, the sun won't catch you on fire, and when winter rolls around, put on a coat and go roll around in the snow.
